چکیده

Abstract Predicting the vibration of circular sawing machine is very important in examining performance process, as it shows amount energy consumption machine. Also, this factor directly related to maintenance cost, such that with a small increase level vibration, cost increases large extent. This paper presents new prediction models assess An evaluation model based on imperialist competitive algorithm one most efficient artificial intelligence techniques was used for estimation sawability dimension stone carbonate rocks. For purpose, four main physical and mechanical properties rock including Schimazek’s F-abrasivity, uniaxial compressive strength, mean Mohs hardness, Young’s modulus well two operational parameters depth cut feed rate, were investigated measured. In predicted model, system considered dependent variable. The results showed can be using newly developed learning models. It suitable properties.

Investigating the Relationship between Various Brittleness Indexes with Specific Ampere Draw in Rock Sawing Process

This study aimed to develop new statistical models for evaluating the specific ampere draw (SI) based on rock brittleness index in rock sawing process. A variety of rocks, including carbonate and granite, were cut by a fully instrumented laboratory-sawing rig with two different types of circular diamond saws. Laboratory tests were performed at different depths of cut and feed rates. Multiple cu...

A Modified Schimazek’s F-abrasiveness Factor for Evaluating Abrasiveness of Andesite Rocks in Rock Sawing Process

One of the most crucial factors involved in the optimum design and cost estimation of rock sawing process is the rock abrasivity that could result in a significant cost increase. Various methods including direct and indirect tests have been introduced in order to measure rock abrasivity. The Schimazek’s F-abrasiveness factor ( ) is one of the most common indices to assess rock abrasivity.  is t...
